The Telecoms Acquisition Module enables the force/agency to request and receive communications data including phone numbers, call records and internet activity from any CSP as part of a Covert operation.
This module speeds up the process by which communications data (phone/email) can be requested and input back into the system for use during the investigation. By using the newly devolved RDHI module the force or agency can automatically obtain authorised billing and subscriber check data without any user intervention. The Telecoms data acquired can also be exported to analytical tools for further investigation.
The RDHI functionality will automatically retrieve authorised Billing and Subscriber Check data from the CSPs, significantly reducing the time and effort spent on this increasingly important, and time consuming, activity.
The Telecoms Module can be fully integrated with the Covert Authorities side of the system and deals with the following:
The module also allows the relevant documents to be automatically generated for obtaining the required data from the service providers. In addition, results returned from the service providers can be attached to the appropriate record so they can be viewed by the applicant as well as associated analysts.
The Telecoms Module is fully up to date with all legislation. New templates, question sets and help files will be provided to support the new operational procedures now required.
